This was my second Anonymous show (CRUCIBLE, 2014) and I don't remember any blatant terror being part of the prep for that performance. However, doing Shakespeare is different than doing Miller. I'll just cite psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi's "flow" experience and acknowledge that it took all my brain space to perform my scenes. I love Shakespeare and was literally moved to tears at the chance to say my "airy nothings." Thank you to my director, Liz Young, to Anonymous and to our audience for giving me this uncommon opportunity!
